The Garden Club of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, provides its members with an opportunity to participate in its many diverse activities while promoting the development of civic, horticultural, and environmental projects and furthering the knowledge and gardening skills of its members and the community.

Our ongoing projects include:
  • Community beautification projects including purchasing and planting flower beds, containers, hanging baskets and tree wells in the business corridor and at both entrances into Oakmont; and financing their watering through the summer
  • Providing Gardening Therapy for Presbyterian Senior Care
  • Providing weekly flower arrangements for Oakmont Carnegie Library and decorations for the Holidays
  • Working in cooperation with the Oakmont Recreation Board to enhance the beauty of the parks in the community
  • Awarding an annual scholarship

The work of our Civic Planting Committee is making the entrances to Oakmont look great. The mums they planted are in full bloom now and are really brightening up the area.
